LIBERATION HAS BEEN BUSY SPREADING THEIR MUSICAL TALENTS ON
ALL TYPES MUSICAL PROJECTS SINCE 1998. EITHER AS A GROUP OR AS
INDIVIDUALS, THE BAND HAS BEEN VERY BUSY WORKING WITH ARTIST TO UPLIFT THE
QUALITY OF THEIR ALBUMS AND ADD A TASTE OF DIVERSITY TO THEM.
THE FILM "KILLING THE BADGE" IS EVIDENCE THAT THE BAND HAS NOT BEEN STANDING STILL AND ARE STRIVING TO REACH THE NEXT LEVEL DESPITE THE LIMITED AVENUES FOR REGGAE GROUPS BASED IN THE UNITED STATES.
PROJECTS:
1. Yo Money My Money by Kage - set
for release in May of 2005, this new album features Skill on Track #13
"Play Wid It" and it also features future junior Liberaters, Skills'
daughters Double A on track #6 "Play Wid Us".
2. Hell Is Hot The World is Cold- By
50 Pak- set for release in February of 2003, this new album features Phillipidon
on track 11 "Pandamonium". Look for this Victoria, TX group to
make big waves in Texas in 2003.
3. Peep Show - By Rysque - brand new Rap/R&B
artist, released July 10 of 2001, features Skill on the slamming track
"Flyin' Hi", which was produced by Curits Moshay.
Just released and this album is already #14 on South
West charts as of July 15th. Check it out @ www.rysque.com
4. Stop Lying In My Face- Fused Version- Phillipidon and
Skill have added their lyrical skills to the blues, big band legend Calvin
Owens, who has invented a new style of big band that incorporates rap with the
music Calvin has created. Other great performers found on that album
include the newly singed Universal Artist South Park Mexican and Hawk, plus many
more upcoming rappers. Skill can be found on Track 3, Rysque on track 11,
Da Golden Child (Liberation Records newly signed artist. DaGolden Child) on track 3 and 5, and Phillipidon on
track 7. Released June of 2000.
5. Otta Black Pitch - By Gride- a new rapper to the Houston scene who has released a great album in which Skill and Philipidon are featured on Track 9, Life in the Pen. Released April 2000.
6. In the Fire Place -by Song- a new artist to the R&B
world in which Skill produced track 2, "It's a Dream". Released
April of 1999. This song along with many of the other tracks on this album
have been used on two movies so far, "Red Ink"- 1999 and "H-Town
Mob"- December 2000 in which Song is a star in.
7. Someting Wicked - by Raggamassive - Phillipidon is all over this album check it out if you can. This is a collectors piece and a wicked reggae album to add to your collection. Released 1996
8.Nomand's Land- by Root 1- Phillipidon is all over this
one too and one should check out the track Education. Released 1996.
9. KILLING THE BADGE - 1999 Action thriller released on
cable in October of 1999 and is booked on various movie channels until 2003.
